My mission

The creation of Embracing Radiance, began with a dream and the greatest feeling of joy, I have ever known. A flock of birds who sang that winter morning in the naked tree outside my window like a mighty choir, gave voice to my mood when I woke that morning. Later, I stepped outside my front door and on a brick shed that stood not fifteen feet away, was painted a feminine face which seemed to me like a portrait of the goddess who had appeared in my dream that had been so magical I could not hold all it in my conscious memory. I spent weeks learning to use a manual camera so I could photograph Her at night in the radiance of the single lamp that lit the alley where I lived.
It is from this presence. which materialized out of a dream, that all the stories in Embracing Radiance have been given and are grouped together to make a single story, written over a period of more than fifty years, without conscious plan of their connection until the last two stories were written and I saw Her intentions. Each story is about personal transformation, about people who overcome their limitations to find better ways to progress through the complex education of the soul that all of us share. I hope you find these tales as illuminating as I have as each was given to me.
